Yellow wagon has been the best choice for our kiddo. We were attending another preschool before yellow wagon but due to the pandemic our old preschool was closed down. Luckily enough, Yellow Wagon was up and running while our old preschool continued to be shut down. Our son who had some hurdles to get over, was able to flourish in a way we had not seen from him. Rachel and Amy are incredible. They have been able to help him tackle and overcome those obstacles and prepare him for big kid school. I would be lost without them. I am so grateful for this school and the teachers. I would highly recommend Yellow Wagon to anyone. It is truly a blessing to have had such a wonderful experience and warm loving teachers. I really feel like when I drop him off, he is loved and cared for the same way he is at home.
Rachel has grown up in the Portland Area all her life and couldn't imagine a better place to grow her business. She graduated from Penn Foster University in 2015. It has always been a dream of hers to have her own preschool facility after graduating. 2015-2019 she owned a child care center in Hillsboro. In August of 2019, she opened doors to her new Preschool Program in Beaverton!
She is very passionate about helping children and teaching them new things. Her favorite part about working with children is listening to the jokes. In her free time she loves sewing, playing volleyball and hanging out with her husband and pup, Luna!
Amy has taught in Beaverton area preschools for over 18 years! She has an Associate of Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Education. Teaching has been a life long adventure!
Amy loves working with children and exploring art and literacy activities with children. Her love of art inspires her to introduce kids to new art mediums and letting them discover their inner artist! She enjoys thrift shopping with her daughter, going to the beach, and spending time with her husband, teenage daughter and her elderly dog Lacie!
